Computing

Our computing provision at St Christopher's aims to equip our children to participate in a rapidly changing world which is increasingly being transformed by technology. It is our intention to enable children to find, explore, analyse, exchange and present information in a safe, responsible and respectful manner.

Computing skills are a major factor in enabling children to be confident, creative and independent learners, and it is our intention at St Christopher’s that children have every opportunity available to allow them to achieve this.

Children are taught the key fundamentals surrounding internet safety, and a culture is developed through our curriculum that supports children to make choices that help to keep them safe when using technology both in school and whilst at home. For more information on how to help keep children safe online please see the NSPCC website here, or speak to a Designated Safeguarding Lead in school.
